Sharp Criticism of Sweden’s Anti-Drugs Policy

The former co-ordinator of Swedish narcotics policies under the last Social Democratic government is sharply criticizing the present center-right coalition’s narcotics program - pointing out that the number of youngsters turning to drugs is increasing after a downward trend for several years.

He claims that Sweden has lost energy on the national level.

The present minister for health and welfare rejects the criticism – defending the closing of the campaign against drugs and alcohol.
