Inflation Continues in Sweden

At the opening of the markets today the Stockholm stock exchange was down a fraction at 0.3 percent.

The small drop was expected after yesterday’s boom on the world markets.

Figures from Statistics Sweden show that the Consumer Price Index went up by 0.2 percent in August.

Inflation caused higher prices of accommodation, clothing, furniture and eating out, while petrol, vegetables and packet holidays became cheaper.
