Climate Aid Budget Receives Boost

The Swedish government are staking 450 million dollars in implementing proposed measures to help with the climate and energy question.

A further 600 million dollars is to be set aside for climate aid while a large sum will also be invested in helping other countries’ deal with environmental problems like carbon dioxide emissions.

The Environment Minister says every Swedish crown invested in a developing country is ten times more effective than one invested at home.

The investments are intended to keep Sweden in line with EU goals concerning climate and energy issues, report news agency TT.
