Plans for anti-stalking law

The ministry of justice plans to introduce a new criminal law against stalking. Based on the results of a special investigation the law would prohibit all sorts of illegal persecution and systematic harassment.

Violations are to be punishable by up to four years in prison. A draft version of the new law was submitted to Justice Minister Beatrice Ask on Tuesday.
