Social Democrats Want Schools Run By State

The Social Democrat Party reveal they believe upper secondary schools in Sweden should be controlled by the state.

The party’s proposal says that the state should take over the financing while special committees would be in charge of the education.

The shake-up would see municipalities and private schools competing to make the best bid in order to win control of running the school.
