Government Double Alzheimer’s Funding

Seventy-five million US dollars a year is to be invested in medical research by the Swedish government.

The deal will be in place until 2012 and is part of the government’s research proposal, report Swedish Television’s Rapport programme.

The funding will double the amount of money invested in researching diseases among others Alzheimer’s.
