Many people in Sweden believe we live in a violent society. But has violence here increased and why is it almost always males that commit acts of violence?

These were just some of the questions discussed at a recent conference in Stockholm on violent crime amongst children and young adults.

our reporter Dave Russell spoke to Professor James Garbarino, an author and expert on why some people grow up to be violent and others don’t, who spoke of youth development in a socially toxic environment.
