Central bank cuts repo-rate again

Sweden’s central bank lowered the repo-rate by another 0.5 percentage points on Thursday to 3.75 percent. It was the second such cut within two weeks. Bank officials said that further repo-rate reductions were likely over the coming months.

They said that cutting the key rate would significantly slow down inflation. The Swedish inflation rate recently rose to slightly over four percent.
