Secret Bedroom Films "Not Molestation"

Published fredag 24 oktober 2008 kl 11.45

Secretly filming someone having sex is not sexual molestation according to a new judgement by the Swedish Supreme Court. The case in question involved a man who secretly installed a camera in his ex-partner’s bedroom, he could then watch and tape any bedroom activity through a connection to his computer.

He also passed on recordings of his partner to her mother and her friends. The man was convicted of molestation in a lower court, but according to the Supreme Court the filming is not currently covered by legislation here and cleared the man of the charges, the court also urged the Swedish Parliament to pass a law on the issue in its judgement.
