New TV Programme Looks At Sweden Through Different Eyes

Monday sees the start of a new tv series here in Sweden. Called Halal-TV it follows three young Swedish muslim women as they look at this country through their eyes. Subjects such as class and gender equality get put under the microscope. But there has been some controversy before the first programme has even gone on air. The choice of the name ”Halal-TV” has upset many here, as well as the fact that all three girls wear headscarves.
