Happy Lucia from Radio Sweden

December 13th is one of the highpoints of the Swedish holiday season, Lucia, a custom which improbably arrived in the chilly north in honor of an Italian saint. But sometimes the traditional celebrations of light here in the Nordic region have been filled with sparks of controversy.

Earlier, this might have been racial or ethnic, but this year Lucia also sees gender hopping and nudity, as we hear from Bill Schiller:
