Swedish Foreign Minister Against EU Ruling on Iranian Mujahedin

Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt says he questions the European Union decision to remove the Iranian opposition Mujahedin from its terrorist list because it lacks a motivation for this classification.

The Swede feels that a number of EU members will appeal the decision, and that he’s convinced the organization has been involved in terrorist activities in the past.

The organization abandoned its armed struggle against the regime in Teheran back in 2001.
