Swedish Economy would benefit under the Euro

Ten years ago this month, the Single European Currency, the Euro, was launched amid predictions that it wouldn’t last a year , never mind ten.

But a decade later, with the world in financial turmoil, the Euro has been perceived as a success, even by Euro sceptics.

The decline of the Krona has prompted calls for Sweden to join the Euro, and on Tuesday, a report from Swedish economists argue that the country would benefit economically if it joined the eurozone.
