Swedes Changing their Euro-Minds?
When the European Monetary Union was launched ten years ago, the scepticism about the new currency that was to come several years later was widespread. Aside from some politicians who were excited about it, support among the general European public was to say the least, lukewarm.
When Swedes were asked in a referendum in 2003 if they wanted to swap the Krona for the Euro 56 percent said NO! But a decade on, Swedes seem to be starting to discern the benefits of of the Euro.
