Cyprus Exhibition Reopens

Sweden’s Mediterannean Museum holds possibly the world’s greatest collection of material from the ancient history of Cyprus, outside of the island itself.

These stone, clay, bronze items all date back to a trailblazing expedition to Cyprus by a group of young Swedish archaeologists in the late 1920s.

Now the museum is celebrating a major re-working, designed to bring out much more material and show off the Cyprus findings in their true glory.
