Saturday saw the second semi final in the annual Swedish search for a song to represent it in the Eurovision Song Contest.

The show gets over 3 million viewers, that’s over a 3rd of the Swedish population each week.

But its fans aren’t just limited to Sweden, no, the reputation and attraction of the Melodifestival has also found its way over the North Sea to London and to the heart of the British capital, where a Swedish pub is ticket-only every Saturday night in Spring, filled to the brim, not just with Swedish ex-pats, but also dozens of British fans, all watching the show live via satellite.

Radio Sweden's Kris Boswell spoke to some of them.
