European Help to Vehicle Industry

As the international economic crisis is especially hurting the automotive industry, Sweden’s vehicle makers are poised to receive some crucial European help.

The European Investment Bank is expected to grant one billion euros in loans to Swedish vehicle makers on Thursday. That’s 400 million euros each to Volvo Trucks and Scania, which makes buses, trucks and diesel engines.
