Saab-GM Cooperation After Sell-off

The newspaper “Dagens Industri” reports that General Motors has signed an agreement with those responsible for reconstructing its Saab Automobile division for continued cooperation, even if GM sells off the Swedish-based unit.

According to the report, the agreement means production is guaranteed for the new models Saab is about to unveil.

A new owner will hopefully be presented at the earliest two months after the reconstruction is complete.

On Wednesday Ford said it is in talks with several potential buyers for its Swedish unit Volvo.
