Could The Recession Lead To More Xenophobia?

A rise in xenophobia and extremism in Europe, just two very real by-products of the current financial crisis. Fears were raised in Strasbourg by Sweden’s Thomas Hammarberg, who’s the Commissioner for Human Rights for the Council of Europe, he told Radio Sweden that the recession isn’t just about economics.
