Sweden Represents EU at UN Conference

The Swedish media, opinion makers and human rights activists have been following the stormy United Nations conference on racism in Geneva and its final document.

Although Sweden chose not to send its foreign minister to the conference, which was boycotted by some Western states, the Swedish ambassador present found himself in a special spotlight, giving the speech on behalf of the European Union when the Czech delegation went home.
