No Swine Flu Found in Sweden

Specialists of the Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control have begun testing travellers returning from Mexico for possible symptoms of swine flu.

A spokesperson says so far no symptoms of the disease have been detected, but that testing would most likely continue.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization’s emergency committee – convened to discuss preventive measures – has raised its pandemic alertness since the virus has not been limited to Mexico and North America.
