Ivo Cramér, one of Sweden’s leading choreographers, has died at the age of 88, Swedish television (SVT) reports. Together with world famous Birgit Cullberg, Cramér founded the Swedish Dance Theatre (Svenska Dansteatern) in 1946. Later, he cooperated with the film and television industry – making dance more popular among the public. From 1975 to 1980, Cramér was head of the Swedish Royal Ballet. Cramér’s most known pieces of art are “Our Father” (“Fader vår”) and “Biblical Pictures” (“Bibliska bilder”).
