Emergency Landing in Gothenburg

A plane with 128 passengers on board was forced to conduct an emergency landing at Gothenburg’s airport Landvetter. According to the Swedish aviation authority the landing was carried out safely and all the passengers could leave the plane unhurt.

On its way from Copenhagen to Oslo, the pilot of the SAS-owned Boeing 737 discovered that one of the engines was failing. The pilot was able to conduct the emergency landing by himself. Several emergency units on the ground had been put on alert.
