Fired for Porno Surfing at Work

One worker has quit and 7 have been fired from Sweden’s Airports Authority, LFV, for looking at pornography on their computers while at work.

The company’s network had been slow.

Following an analysis of the computer traffic they found that the workers had been spending up to 75 percent of their working hours looking at the sites.

The authority says one of the workers had also been looking at child pornography and has been reported to the police. He’s quit his job voluntarily.

LFV says there are clear guidelines about use of the Internet at work, and that looking at pornography is strictly forbidden.

The authority says the activities were not coordinated and those involved worked in different parts of the country.
