Hundreds Gather For Release Party

Thousands of young salmon and sea trout known as smolts have been released into the waters around the islands of Sweden’s capital.

The spingtime event happens every year and is always witnessed by a large crowd around Strömbron, one of the bridges that connects Stockholm’s old town with the neighbouring northern part of the city.
