Greenpeace Wins Case Against Trawlers

The Swedish branch of the world-wide environmental activist organization Greenpeace claims it has won a major victory in stopping trawlers from scooping up all the fish on the sea bed off the southwest coast.

The provincial government of Halland has ruled that Greenpeace does not need special permission to place huge stones on the sea bed - hindering the trawling nets from dragging over the surface.
