No Freedom or Trial for David Isaak

The imprisoned Swedish-Eritrean journalist David Isaak is not to be released or given a chance to defend himself in court - according to Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki in an interview with a Swedish television journalist.

The president has rejected the long Swedish campaign on behalf of Isaak - arrested 8 years ago along with other critics of the regime. No charges have been made against those arrested.
