EU Observers In Sweden

Four electoral observers from the Organisation For Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) are now in Sweden to check the EU parliamentary elections are carried out in a fair manner.

Observers from OSCE are visiting 15 of the 27 EU member states during the campaign.

The countries chosen are a mixture of sizes representing different areas in Europe as well as varying electoral voting systems. Sweden uses proportional representation in all its elections.

The four experts in Sweden will travel round the country and meet politicians, authorities and the media. They'll stay in Sweden until May 29th.
