There will be a Swede in Sunday’s finals of the Swedish Open tennis tournament.
Second-seeded Robin Söderling will be meeting fellow Swede Andreas Vinciguerra in the second of Saturday’s semi-finals.
Söderling, a surprise finalist in this year’s French Open, beat Spain’s Nicolas Almagro 7-5, 6-3. Vinciguerra, a wildcard, then defeated fourth-seeded Jurgen Melzer of Austria in three sets 2-6, 6-4, 6-3.
The other semi-final will be between Juan Monaco of Argentina and Spain’s Tommy Robredo.
