Bigger Loss for Volvo Trucks

The Swedish Volvo truck manufacturer has reported a bigger than expected loss of a billion US dollars for the second quarter of this year.

Earlier predictions forcecast a loss at 800 thousand dollars for the troubled industry with falling sales in Europe, North America and Japan.

The company predicts a stabilization in the weak market - but still with another troublesome quarter ahead.
