Infrastructure investments planned for 2013-14 will be moved forward to 2010-2011 as a way to try to quickly get more new jobs. That was announced by the Minister for Infrastructure Åsa Torstensson on Thursday. The package she presented amounts to 109 million US dollars on road repair and 79 million dollars extra on the railways. But the Green Party is critical of the announcements, News Agency TT writes. Instead, they want a tax on mileage for heavy road transport, which would mean less heavy traffic on the roads, which would mean less need of road repair.
