Sweden Needs a Miracle

On Wednesday night Sweden's football World Cup chances hang on the tiny European island of Malta. If they beat the mighty Portugal then Sweden could be in with a chance of making it to South Africa for 2010.

Also on Wednesday evening Sweden face the far less intimidating Albania. But unless Malta can knock Portugal off the number two spot in Sweden's qualifying group then it won't matter how many goals Zlatan puts past the Albanian goalkeeper.
