Wilander Steps Down as Davis Cup Captain

Mats Wilander is to step down as captain of the Swedish Davis Cup team. The former multiple grand slam singles winner told Aftonbladet newspaper that his decision had been made for personal reasons.

"There are private reasons which lie behind the decision. I want to be at home more and spend more time with my four young children."

Wilander has been captain of Sweden's Davis Cup team since 2003.
