Tracing Roots and Searching for Cultural Identity

Sweden's inter-country adoption boom began in the 1970s. Now those children have grown up, sought questions, received answers and  perhaps have even become parents themselves. And so, today, rather than professionals and academics, it is adoptees themselves that are making their voices heard in the debate on the subject.

Cultural identity, tracing roots and ethical dilemmas proved to be the topics raised by the adoptees who spoke to Radio Sweden's Christine Demsteader in the second part of a series on adoption.
