Swine Flu Upsets Hockey Match

The swine flu is casting a shadow over one of the week’s sports events:

Leksand’s ice hockey team has refused to postpone Wednesday’s league match, denying a request from Sundsvall, where eleven players have come down with what is believed to be the swine flu.

The Leksand team has just been vaccinated against the illness and is not missing any players.

Leksand’s refusal has caused irritation among Sundsvall officials and fans, who are accusing the rival team of being unfair. Leksand argues that a postponement was not possible since thousands of tickets had already been sold.
