The second severely injured Swedish soldier has arrived back in Sweden from Afghanistan. The ambulance plane landed in Uppsala after 3pm on saturday.
The 30 year old from Luleå was one of two Swedish troops badly injured in a roadside bomb which killed their interpreter in Afghanistan last Wednesday. Three other Swedes received less severe injuries in the attack.
Doctors made the decision late on Friday that he was strong enough to travel. He was taken to Uppsala's Academic Hospital where three of the injured troops are being cared for, including the 22 year old also seriously injured.
