Age Lowered in Time for Premiere

After an appeal to the administrative court in Stockholm, the age limit for the second film in the popular Twilight Saga, "New Moon", has been lowered from 15 to 11.

According to the decision, the film can now be allowed for public viewing in Sweden to an audience from the age of 11, without causing any psychological damage.

The Swedish Board of Film Classification ruled earlier that the film was to be rated 15, the highest age limit for film censorship in Sweden. After massive protests from fans the decision was appealed by the film distributor, Nordic Films.

New Moon opens Friday in cinemas all over Sweden.
