Swine Flu Numbers Continues to Fall

The Swine Flu numbers in Sweden are continuing to decrease. The number of laboratory verified cases decreased by about 60% to 162 new cases last week compared to 425 the week before.

The current wave of the pandemic has passed in many countries. Most nations in the north, west and Eastern Europe, as well as North America, are reporting a slowing down of the spread. Continued flu activity is still seen in southern and south-eastern Europe as well as Central and Eastern Asia, according to the Swedish Institute of Infectious Disease Control.
