Unions Criticize GM’s Strategy

Swedish unions within Saab have criticized General Motors for what they call “untrustworthy behavior”. Speaking to Swedish Radio news Anette Hultgren, head of the union club committee of Unionen, accused GM of playing games in public.

The assessment by General Motors that none of the bids for Saab was worthy of taking into deeper consideration sounded not trustworthy to her, Hultgren added. Some of the bids to take over Saab were in fact good enough, she said. Swedish unions are planning to hold a rally near the Saab plant in Trollhättan on Tuesday in which they want to call upon GM to sell its Swedish brand.
