Opening Win in Women's Hockey

At the Vancouver Winter Olympics, Sweden beat Switzerland 3-0 Saturday in the opening match of the women’s ice hockey tournament. Kim Martin made 16 saves, while Danijela Rundqvist, Tina Enstöm, and Erica Uden Johansson scored for Sweden.

But there was disappointment in the women's 7.5 km biathlon sprint, as the World Cup leader, Sweden’s Helena Jonsson, came a disappointing 12th, despite perfect shooting. Slovakia’s Anastasiya Kuzmina took the gold medal.
