In what he calls “a bad decision,” Wallin said that the two were dancing along the cliff edge on the way down the mountain when the fall occurred.
“We landed on a snowy ledge at the end of the fall, which saved us,” he said. “It’s unbelievable actually that it went so well.”
Wallin hurt his knee in the fall, while his friend injured his head. Both are set to leave the hospital later in the day.
