Greenpeace Activists Released

A group of Greenpeace activists accused of trespassing at a nuclear power plant in eastern Sweden have been released. Their trial will take place on July 1st.

Earlier this week the group staged a protest on the roof of the Forsmark plant, north of Stockholm, in protest over a parliamentary vote to replace aging atomic reactors.

The 29 activists were from from Germany, Finland, Poland, Great Britain, Denmark, and Sweden.
