Three in Ten Young People Jobless

Sweden has the highest youth unemployment in the Nordic region.

According to a new report from the Nordic Council, 29 percent of young adults under the age of 25 are without jobs here. Norway has the lowest rate of unemployment among young people in the region, at 9 percent.

The Nordic Council is calling for new measures when young people drop out of school, for a better transition from school to working life, and the increased exchange of information between countries.
