Speculations over Sweden's New Cabinet

The Swedish Parliament is opening its new session today in Stockholm, where a flurry of speculation occupies headlines. How will the ministerial seats will be reshuffled, now that the center-right coalition finds itself ruling as a minority government?

Prime Minister Reinfeldt is due to present the new government at lunchtime. There are speculations that he will appoint his former opponent, Ulf Kristersson, to replace Cristina Husmark Pehrsson as the new social insurance minister.

Reinfeldt's own Moderate party are expected to gain two ministerial seats, while all the small parties are expected to hold onto at least some of their cabinet posts.

King Carl XVI Gustaf will open the Riksdag's session.
