New death threat against Lars Vilks

A Swedish member of the islamist al-Shabab militia in Somalia has urged muslims to kill Swedish artist Lars Vilks, according to news agency TT.

In a video message Abu Zaid warned Vilks that "he hasn't been forgotten".

The Swedish Intelligence Service, Säpo, is looking into the matter.

Lars Vilks caused controversy when he drew a cartoon sketch of the prophet Mohammed with the body of a dog, causing demonstrations in parts of the Islamic world, and Vilks was also recently attacked when he held a lecture at Uppsala University.
