Frida loses millions in court case

Abba star Anni-Frid Reuss has lost a court case to recover several million dollars from a meditation resort in southern Sweden, reports tabloid Expressen.

Since 2008 Frida and her partner Henry Smith have supported the Yangtorp establishment to the tune of over 6.5 US$million - but now they say that this money was a loan.

The Malmö district court has refused the couple's claim, which would have meant pushing the meditation centre into bankruptcy. And in addition the Abba star and her partner now have to pay the centre's founder Marcus Bongart around US$ 24,000 in legal costs.
