Pigs caught under collapsing roof

The roof of a pig stable collapsed at a farm outside Tomelilla in southern Sweden early Friday morning. All 70-80 pigs have now been rescued alive, albeit some with scratches and bruises.

Representatives of the local rescue service tells Swedish Radio Malmöhus that it is most likely to have been the weight of the snow that caused the collapse, even though the owners had recently cleared the snow from the roof.
