Judge DUI on way to court

A trial in Halmstad in southern Sweden had to be postponed Thursday, because the judge had been caught driving under the influence.

The newspaper Hallandsposten writes that the judge was stopped at a police check-point and was found to be over the limit for blood alcohol. His drivers licence was immediately confiscated, and the trial scheduled for Thursday morning was postponed, “for security reasons”.
