"Sebbe" bags Best Film at the Bugs

"Sebbe" took home the prestigious Best Film award at last night's Guldbagge (Gold Bug ) national film awards ceremony in Stockholm.

The film about a 15 year old boy who lives alone with his mother, beat the hotly tipped favourite Beyond ( Svinalängorna.) "Beyond" did however win two awards, for Pernilla August as Best Director and Outi Mäenpää for Best Supporting Actress.

The Best Actor awards went to Joel Kinnaman for his lead role in Easy Money (Snabba Cash) and Alicia Vikander in Pure (Till det som är vackert,) a film which also won the Best Screenplay award.

"Simple Simon" which could be one of five Oscar nominations for Best Foreign film in Hollywood later today missed out on all the top awards.
