Jesus emerges from 3 tons of ice

A three ton heavy ice-block has been turned into a sculpture of Jesus outside a church in Västerås, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the congregation.

The artist Tjåsa Gusfors, who among others perform work for the ice hotel in Jukkasjärvi, has created the sculpture out of ice from the Torne river in northern Sweden.
